1 of a growing number!
Naturally after a move it takes time to build up one’s circle of friends, well it does for me anyway. However Alistair has his friendly ways and school to assist him, Alice has her winning smile and Alistair to assist her. I say this because while going up and down in the condo lift by himself we found he was asking all ladies he met whether they played tennis. This led to him coming home with a handwritten note from a Japanese lady giving a telephone number, and now Alice joins with some Japanese at the tennis courts on a Sunday morning!
Of course we also put up a note on the noticeboard which led to Alice meeting Sarah, top left, and San, lower left, with both of whom she now plays regularly. Above right is the well known Becky and Alice doubles team playing against (who else?) San and Sarah.
As for me, just give me food and booze (and reading matter) and I am happy, the brilliantly named restaurant, above right, was actually found when we drove back up to Melaka in Malaysia for a weekend. Above left I am sat in the nearest hawker stall to the Condo, where there is a very nice Chinese feed available.
